Out of the Nest
Now that your kids are older, it’s time to think about
doing something for yourself--or your family’s budget--like
going back to work. Though your skills may be a bit rusty
and office technology may be a little more complicated, you’ll
find that the basics of excellence at work are the same as
they were when you left the workforce.
What has changed significantly, though, is how to go about
looking for a job. The rules of the hunt are probably very
different from what you recall, even if you’ve been out
of the loop for only a year or so. But don’t despair!
